I drew this back in 2008, when I was 21. I had been in an art slump for a while and I had a really hard time getting this to come out the way I wanted, which I never achieved. But I do like the complex pattern I put in his eyes.
Unfortunately I have since misplaced this, so I can't scan it. I would LOVE to scan it and make it better digitally! Also, there is more shading that there at first seems, like on the nose and cheeks and stuff.

That includes any use of this character or this character with a different name.

Zieke when he saw his village burning: [link]
Young Zeike: [link]

This young swordsman named Zieke has one thing on his mind, REVENGE. His village was burned by a group of nasty bandits when he was younger while he was running an errand for his parents. He is an only child.

I amazed the people near me on the bus when I pulled this out and worked on it during a bus ride.

Thank you so very much. I plan to redo this sometime soon since I have better colored pencils now. Plus, his one eye looks a bit crooked to me, haha.

It can be tricky to make them straight. I suggest making a dot or a verticle line in the eyes before actually drawing the details. It can save a lot of smudging and possible paper-ripping from eracing. Just erace and reposition the line until you are satisfied with it.
